This story is kinda embarrassing. A while ago I found myself in an antique store so I kept my eyes open for old folders. I came across this one on the bottom and inspected it. The only marking I could find was "Kistan". I had never heard of Kistan knives so I decided to get it and look into it. My research turned up nothing, but I started to realize that my Kistan knife was in fact "Pakistan" with the "Pa" worn off. So what I thought was some kind of cool old knife is more likely just and old piece of crap. And to think I passed up several old Barlow branded knives for this one. Live and learn.A good knife with a knife you are reluctant to admit you own.
