My aunt had Tin Tin (wire fox terrier) for 12 years, traveled the world with her, then it passed of old age. Now she has the cousin so to speak, airedale terrier, both great dogs, airedale much much bigger though.

If you talking about the Danish comic book, the name of the guy is Tintin and the small white dog’s name is Snowy.
If you’re talking about the Hollywood movies with the German Shepard Rin Tin Tin, there is no one guy there,
it started with Rusty and they were more characters involved later.
