I know, you're right. I have a video of my kids watching me practice wheelies on the road I lived on in Michigan, they love it. I'll ride by the wife and kids on one wheel while they are in the wife's car 🤣.

Careful my brother… a buddy of mine here was heading to a dinner date with his wife, saw her just before going in the Washburn Tunnel and rode a wheelie through the whole thing. I have no idea how far it is, but it goes all the way under the ship channel - it’s a good piece.

Anyway, he told me when they got there she bitched him out in front of everybody. “You’re insane! Don’t you care that you have kids?!” Blah, blah, blah. He said “yeah but wasn’t that cool?! I made it the WHOLE way down!”

He said sh!t was never the same between them. She couldn’t let it go and thought he was an irresponsible asshole while he thought he wasn’t allowed to have any fun. Killed it.

She was rich as hell (or her family was), so right before he knew it was all gonna implode he asked her for a badass really high dollar bike for his birthday. He got that, then lost her.

Yikes! Damn! Ouch! She was to harsh on him. Yes I'm biased lol. What some people don't understand is that riding can be deeply rooted in a person. Like apart of the person. Last year I knew 4 people who died riding. 2 of whom I rode with regularly. One of which was a very good rider, riding mountain roads with me at a very fast pace. To the edge of the tire.


He knew the risk and he loved what he did. It's terrible he's gone. It sucks.

The other was hit by a drunk driver.

I think of this often too, I almost died not to long ago. A woman turned across my lane while I had a green light. I t-boned her suv. Of all the highspeed cornering, 200mph highway runs and wheelieing an obese old woman almost killed me. Riding is dangerous. It's a hard thing to give up.

100%. Had more here pass on than I care to say. Comes with the territory and they all went doing what they loved. Sure do miss every one. Hurts like hell.😢

Not too long back one of my homeboys had a close call and barely avoided it but had heart attack right there and just kept going at a dead end. Went right through a sign, down in the ditch, up and over, fell over wide open throttle bike roaring. SMDH

I’ve had my share of close calls. Quite a few that would make yer asshole pucker. I’ve only been down once on a street bike and it was a light hit (knock on wood). Got fubar’d plenty on dirt bikes comin’ up. It’s not “if” but “when”.

On bikes, we all just have to know we’re wearing a “cloak of invisibility”. Cagers will be looking right through you at the goddamn car behind you.

Not much we can do about it but be as loud and as visible as we can! I mean, we’re gonna ride, hell or high water. You keep that shiny side up and that rubber side down, ya hear? I’ll try to do the same.

You are absolutely right brother. Please ride safely, it's been a rough last year with deaths for me. Don't want to lose anyone else. Besides, who the hell else is gonna use the word punani on BF 🤣
