A game to play

Let's try this again: A knife and a combustion engine head.

Come-on, you bikers ( shinyedges shinyedges , shane45-1911 shane45-1911 , ...) out there, or older car owners, just take a photo from the side where I can see a spark plug ! :)
To see spark plugs on a zx10r:

1.Remove some upper fairings

2.Remove bolts on front of tank

3.Lift gas tank and ideally have something over head to attach it to so it remains raised, otherwise Remove tank completely.

4.Remove air box? (Shit, I can't remember it's been awhile.)

5. Some other crap I forgot

Needless to say it's a HUGE pain in the ass lol

It's a similar process for cleaning/replacing air filter, having to lift the tank. Once you get used to it it's fairly easy, but still an annoyance.

Everything is very tight and crammed together. With the exception of the oil filter and oil drain plug. They actually put those in an accessible location.

Well, off you go, get busy :)

I had a ZX10R the year they came out... Damn near killed me on a barely wet road (because the numbnuts that did the oil change left something loose & it started blowing oil once I had the rpms up. I managed to get it under control then, about 2 easy miles later, the light came on. When I got off, I saw the oil pouring onto the ground). Hated to get rid of it; but was fixated on the idea that the loss of oil pressure would lead to problems.

Aye, if I only be at me home. I do believe we've had that request before however.

Due to my vision, I unfortunately will never know the joys/terror of riding a motorcycle.

My R6's plugs are buried deep beneath the front cowl. It's a half-hour job just to get to them, lol. A very similar horror story to Shiny's Ninja disassembly a couple posts up.

My other bike (Yamaha Bolt) is currently in storage out in the back shed and that WOULD be an easy pic being a V-twin, but the lighting is dismal so the chances of getting a decent pic (even with flash) is pretty low. Sorry. :(
