A game to play

Blame my buddy for the fishing magnet. If sent him a link to one a week or so ago, joking about not being able to pull it off the refrigerator. Then we talked about what we could use them for, and what we might find at some of our diving spots. The seed was planted, and he just told me he'd bought us a couple. (Only because I said I was looking for a magnet...but that one is for my mailbox door)
What's a fishing magnet? For catching hammerhead sharks? Steelhead? Are sturgeon magnetic? I'm guessing it's not good for electric eels.

It’s a very strong magnet you tie to a rope, throw in a lake or river, and pull it out to see what metal you can find. If you look up magnet fishing you’ll find lots of pictures and videos.
^that.
They can also be used for cleanup of nails/screws, tool retrieval, steel shot collection, etc.

This is probably the one he boughtView attachment 1797910

I have something like that on a stick for picking up nails and the like. Interesting idea.

Good luck with that, seems like a cool hobby, especially if you have a boat.

No boat...no real desire to collect scrap metal, either. It'll probably get used primarily for screw/nail cleanup and shot collection (I finally set up a slingshot target with a trap, but I've got plenty of stray shot in the yard); but we'll probably toss them in the water at least a time or two

Good morning, all.
Nobody has brownies, so it's time for a change.

A used fixed blade knife and five (5) flashlights. Feel free to include different sizes. On or off at your discretion.

Just realized you wanted used/fixed, so here:

Knife and Kellogs Frosties or Wheats. Other brands are OK.

My dad always kept a magnet and rope in his truck. He liked ice fishing and people would drop chisels and scoops into the hole.. He was able to retrieve them.

This started in the 60’s. Not sure if he invented magnet fishing or not, but he was a pioneer for sure. He also had a grappling hook.

Good luck with yours.

TIME
In recognition of National Tea Day, let's see a knife and a cup of tea (please reference what the tea is - I'm always looking for different ones to try)

I’ve been drinking Ahmad brand Earl Grey loose leaf.
It’s pretty good.
