I'll try, but I'm not very talented nor do I have good balance.View attachment 1811028

knife and scythe
View attachment 1811202Yeah, um, I'm not the grim reaper, hence I have no scythe.
I have one too. Wound up being a bit heavier than I anticipated. Landed myself in the dog house dropping it and denting the drywall in the kitchen. No idea what I'm going to use it for, I'd rather eat the beef then beat it with a stick.I'm ashamed to admit that I've got the CS blackhtorn walking stick. I was pretty unhappy when I saw it in person - though I suppose the target audience just wants it for beating a frozen side of beef, it something. It sat in a corner for a couple months, then got moved to the back of a closet.
I should cut it up and throw it away

I take a stick with me when I walk the dogs. The friggin beagle eats whatever nasty stuff she finds laying in the grass on the side of the road and a little tap on the posterior usually gets her to drop it. Plus there are a few neighbors who allow their dogs to free range and over the years I've found a stick to be a good deterrent to any shenanigans. No Cold Steel here. My walking stick is just a local unknown 2 year old tree growth that grows straight and dries straight. Sorry to say I use it more for a land mine marker in the yard than I do for actually walking, makes finding the mines easier when I go back later to pick them up in the taller grass (dog land mines that is), lol.
