BBBK-Day (Big Box of Busse Knives Day) is Dec 29th according to UPS!

And not exaggerating about big. Who wants to guess the weight of the box? Same rules as above. The closest guess to the even weight in pounds gets a chance to purchase a knife if I sell any (after winner announced for number of knives guessed.)

True, they are often different, I was thinking we'll just go off of what the shipping notice says in the email.
 
The UPS tracking had me all excited, it updated this morning to out for delivery and sure enough it is on the truck. There is a live map feature and the truck was 5 miles from my house. And it never got closer. This evening it updated to delayed shipping because of "weather or emergency." We have a lot of snow right now so I figure the driver was running behind and got as much done as they could during their shift and had to return to the mother ship. Hopefully, it wasn't an accident. Box will likely be around tomorrow.

We'll all have to be patient a bit longer though, I am working out of town until the 2nd. My wife is going to be kind and not open it without me. She is already trying to talk me into letting her go first to choose her favorite knife from the bunch to be hers, no exceptions.
 
The eagle has landed! UPS delivered the goods. Now we wait. When I get back in town next week I will post the answers for the weight of the package and the number of items in the box. Expect plenty of photos in the near future! I will probably need some expert assistance from y'all on identifying some of the knives as I am not familiar with all the variants. It is going to be a long few days at work!
 
So... waiting patiently is not my strong suit.

Guessing for the number of items in the box and weight of the box is officially closed. Because, I have decided to announce the winners of the guess the weight of the box early.

Everything showed up in one box. that box is 26 inches long and my wife estimates 6x6 inches in height and width. Now I am wondering, what is the biggest Busse likely to fit in a 26 inch long box?

UPS shipping weight was 18.0 lbs

Actual weight of the box is 18.6 lbs.

Winner of the number of the items in the box will be 1st place, to be announced next week when I am done unboxing and counting everything.
