I got the okay from Spark to do this one. As a prelude to the Give Away, a little backstory of where I'm coming from. Many of you probably know from my last Give Away that I have been going through some life changing health issues. I had one kidney removed and I'm now getting chemotherapy to further destroy the evil within. It's been tough, exhausting, depressing and challenging to say the least. In my visits to our local Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I see many children stricken. It's bad enough for an adult, but it's simple heart breaking to see some of these kids going through the same or worse and I would like to do something to help out. I donate to the Jimmy Fund every year anyways (this isn't my first rodeo there) as I feel that this organization does fantastic work to help the children in need.
So on to the Give Away and the requirements to be eligible.
Through a round about way, I became the recipient of the Eric's Jack made by Canal Street Cutlery of which only 100 were made and originally given through the generosity of Gunstockjack. It's a beautiful knife and was design to be the 2014 BF Knife alternate. It was made with 440C stainless steel and Sambar Stag covers. It is still unused and un carried and the box and pouch will be included.
To be eligible to participate and be selected through random number generator, I ask that you be prepared to make a donation of at least $25 (minimum on the Jimmy Fund link I'll be posting) after being chosen as the winner, but feel free to make donations in larger amounts should you desire. No money will be coming to me. Only direct to the Jimmy Fund. Here is the payment link;

https://www.kintera.org/site/c.dtJR...tmctr=(not provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=61071461

You will see there that you can pay via credit card or print a form and send a check if so desired.
Thanks all for your participation and support. :D
I'm offering the choice of donations to either the Jimmy Fund listed above or St. Judes Childrens Research here;

http://www.stjude.org/waystohelp

And now a couple of borrowed pics from gunstockjack's original thread (hopefully he won't mind).

We have a new addition to this GAW!!!!
Through the generousity of Brett (KBA) a second GAW knife has been added, but this one has similar, but slightly different eligibility requirements.
To qualify for the second knife, you need to have already made a pre-donation or make one before the end of this GAW at 12:00 PM EST tomorrow, 02/16/15
The second prize to be given to anyone that qualifies;
An Ebony Spear point TC Charlow!

So make your contribution to either the Jimmy Fund or St. Judes in the links above.
Thank you for your contribution Brett! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
This place is fantastic! :D

Donation given Bob---fantastic foundation and be "Bob Strong";)

Thank you for the opportunity going well beyond a knife GAW!!!

Thank you:thumbup:

I should be a bit clearer in that I only require the winner to make a donation, but if anyone feels it within their heart, it is greatly appreciated. And of course your donations are tax deductible. :D
Thank you Paul.

Thank you Paul.

Understood Bob, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to help fight back...anything to fight back at Cancer, to many loved ones lost. The famed Jimmy fund above left field was there for years at Fenway...still there?

Get better my friend:thumbup:

Thank you sir. This Give Away is not limited to the US. Anyone is eligible to enter. :D

Thanks for the great GAW Bob!
I support St. Jude's yearly along with many other orgs. dedicated to fighting childrens illnesses so this will be a pleasure to do. I recently lost my mother to a short but horrific bout of Pancreatic cancer that has left me and my family shocked and devastated and My heart breaks to think of the children who battle this evil daily.
May God be by your side in your battle to beat this beast.
I'm in please!

My wife has been an Oncology RN for more than 15 years and I wish you the best.

Please count me in

Like nozyk, I support St.Jude's as a partner in hope. I also participate in fund raisers on another forum and am currently using a handmade custom longbow that is to be auctioned off to benefit St.Jude's. Bob Sarrels made two of them to be passed around for a year and then auctioned, the left hander is named Faith the righty is Hope. This is a cause that is close to my heart and I want to thank you for doing this.

I am in, please. Also your recovery will remain in my prayers as you fight this.

Chris

As a father, whose daughter is a patient at Saint Jude, I am honestly taken back a little, and a few tears have been shed in thankfulness to those who have posted they support St. Jude. Any organization that takes on the fight to help children battle not only helps those children, but the families of each child. I am truly and honestly blessed through St. Jude, just as I am sure others are through this fund linked above.

When I go there 6 times a year I see the faces of the parents and realize deeply how much they carry on daily basis. I leave with a renewed perspective to treasure each second given. Thank you for this GAW. It means a lot more than most realize.

Wow! What a fantastic thing to do. The generosity and thoughtfulness of this forum never ceases to amaze me. I'd be honored to be a part of this particular GAW. I'm in.

My heart goes out to you and everyone fighting cancer, especially the children – how heart breaking. And thanks for your generosity in coming up this GAW.

My Mother in Law has been battling cancer for awhile now. Awesome GAW, thanks for the chance. Also, I hope you beat this thing, stay positive, and my prayers go out to you and those in your shoes.
