For me a gentleman's folder is sleak, non intimidating, made out of top tier materials and has a slicey blade. For me the ultimate gent's knife is a CRK Mnandi, unfortunately I don't own one...yet. below my gentleman's folders which are very divers.

I have several that qualify imho. A couple that come to mind immediately are the Red Trout and the GEC White Owl.

One of my all time favorites on what I’d consider a gentleman’s folder.

This one is just 3 5/8’s. The pearl classes it up a bit. The bullocks shield is well…I can say I play chess. And the blade isn’t too threatening looking and folks like sheep. The cap lifter says gentleman to me unless I do too much lifting.

This one is my very capable gent. It suffers from small dog syndrome and always feels like it has to prove himself.

I'll put a screaming edge on it and what do you know? He just goes destroying boxes instead of just chilling back.
I really like how it has an internal stop pin, and feels very solid. There is no give when you apply force like with endura for example you can feel the lock move.

The REK Sparrow next to my standard Hinderer XM-18. The size and light weight of the Sparrow, particularly how thin it is, makes it a wonderful gentleman's carry.
