Please forgive me Mod's for posting here but I was afraid if I went into the gallery , he would see this and I would lose the surprise . This is a gift for a good customer who is being re-deployed to Iraq in a few weeks . It was created with A-2 , the heat treat was contributed by Paul Bos and the Bead Blast was contributed by Dave Larson for our brave and true folks . Hope he likes it . I thank all who have served to help us keep this wonderful life we enjoy .
Thank You all

I returned home this afternoon after dropping my wife/son off at our local high school for a trip to DC...he is playing in the July 4th parade. I stopped off and got the mail, and to my surprise there was a package from Jack. I didn't remember ordering anything, but thought maybe he shipped me an extra sheath or lanyard for a previous knife. Well, it wasn't that at all. It was nice hand made tanto (didn't know he knew how to make one of those ;) and a pretty cool letter explaining it all.

I'm not sure how I feel about it...but I will use it during my upcoming deployment next month. I've been doing this for many years, and I've opened quite a few care packages, envelopes with calling cards, and letters from thankful children, but this is the first time someone has given me knife.

Thanks Mr. Larson, Mr. Bos, and of course Jack for being so generous.

And Jack, get that printer fixed. Your handwriting is terrible;)
