I'm in, if you'll allow. The reason being that a workmate just gifted me this old 'Garantie Solingen' camp knife. I saw it in his car and he explained to me that it was owned, and used by the previous owner (late 80's, early 90's Toyota Hilux, red.) Apparently he was an old SAS soldier, and used this knife for almost everything. (hammering ect.)
It is a great, solid knife that could tell many stories.
My workmate also appreciates knives, and often comments on knives I use at work (in a Vineyard by the way) a month or two ago, when I was carrying my #61 GEC congress, he seemed particularly interested in it and wanted to buy one of his own as he seemed to like the idea of having a few options for blades. Perfect for vineyard work.
If I win this Boker congress, I am sure he would love to use it. He really appreciated the workmanship, and age on the fixed blade, and although he really liked it, he thought I would appreciate it enough to give it a new life. First thing is going to be a trip to the leather shop for some veggie tan for a new sheath.
Thanks for the giveaway Legion
