I'd love to move to this place and become a "mountain man knifemaker"! Can anyone name this lake in Alaska. Dustin Golat is ineligible, since he's probably been there numerous times.

I just wish I would have had the time to fish while I was there. What a beautiful place.

Stayed tuned for the answer.

Please add a great fishing story to these pics, even if it's a fabrication, I would love to here it.

There were two gorgeous young women fishing in bikinis. And we all know what cool weather does to gorgeous young women, don't we?

How's that Fred?

Excellent! I'll have one bait my hook the other can take the fish off and put them in the deep well. Women have to earn their keep on a fishing trip, even young beauties in bikinis.:jerkit:

Were you looking for bikinis or a quench tank ???

It would be more like a cold shower than a quench tank. I preheat my quench tank. The water there is pretty darn cold, and definitely not preheated. We were looking for nice rocks and stuff for my wife, and while reaching into the little streams, it's amazing how cold glacial run off can be. Wow! It's definitely not a swimming hole.

I gotta guess Kinik or Matanuska, those are the two fairly close that I remember.

What do I win :D
