I've owned a number of Arc AAAs and have gradually gotten rid of them. I have one left, which incidentally doesn't work anymore. Between roll crimp problems, high price, and the absurd ball of solder that they use for a positive contact, I just can't recommend them anymore.
Personally, for keychain use, the Freedom is just about perfect. Its easy to turn on and off, dissappears in your pocket, and has versatility that most keychain lights lack. Sure, the full power runtime isn't the greatest and you can't drive over it with a tank, but who cares? It does everything 99% of people need from it.
But if you really like the AAA form factor, the durability, and the runtime, just get the Fenix.
