I kayak fish, and I carry a Mora Companion in Stainless Steel. It's a great all-around utility blade, and it's edge geometry is thin enough to fillet with.
Agreed. I use a Mora Companion in stainless as well. It is orange with the orange plastic sheath and hangs from the side of my fishing bag. It doesn't raise many eyebrows at the launches or when shore fishing, is easy to find and inexpensive if I need to replace if lost.
