That mod broke my heart. If you need fast opening buy a gravity knife. Heck an extra-large CS Voyager will gravity open so fast it's unreal.

The Police 3 is my favorite Spyderco, you might as well stick some zombie/attacker with a long screwdriver. Whatever turns you on though, just sayin....;)
 
I have a ZT 0150 tha I have had for a month and it is absolutely an amazing knife! the blade length is just under four inches making it a legal no license needed (depending on your state laws) knife. It's made from S30V steel one of the top three in the industry. It keeps an adge like no other and is high quality. I picked mine up for $120 and it was worth every penny. I highly recomend this knife for everday carry
