I bought a Browning/Tops X-4 Field Knife for myself as a birthday gift a few years back, but really didn't use it much. It took an edge and held it well, but it wasn't the best at slicing and the coating caused friction. Well, I got all that fixed. I had one of the resident knife makers and fellow Arkie Mr Krien, strip the finish and put a real high hollow grind on it, and now I can say it's a great knife. I've coupled it with a Kershaw RAM in the front pocket or the sheath to make a very versatile outdoors set.

Just thought I'd show it off. Thanks for looking.:D

Nice pics and a great mod to that knife. Usually I am not fond of 'regrinds', but I think that that job nicely completes the knife. Great work and fantastic looking knife!
