A good locking Wharncliffe knife?

The frame and bolsters are both stainless steel. The engraving on the bolsters actually looks hand done, but I don't know for sure. The scales are real stag.

The blade is 440C.

It's 4" closed and 7" open ( the blade is 3").

The lock is pretty unique , if you look at the picture you can see a little wheel behind the stud. The wheel rides along a groove in the bolster as the blade is opening and then locks into an indentation. The stud slides forward to unlock the blade.

Oh it's got a thumb lock,like kershaw's spec-bump(among others)?

I like it:thumbup:I like it very much:D

Thanks

I got the Spyderco Centofante 4;)

I couldn't find that Paul Chen knife for under $185:o

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions everyone:thumbup:

The Sheffield Folder can be found for under $100.

Try Ebay

Found a couple on ebay for like 90 bucks. Cool knife. May pick one up eventually. Just getting into some traditional knives myself...

Congratulations! One of my favorite knifes regardless of price.

If somebody should read this who hasn’t handled one: the blade is slightly thinner than most Spyderco knifes, which really complements the Wharncliffe design and the handle is very comfortable.

Congrats on getting the Centofante 4. I wish the Yojimbos were still in production. Those are some great knives.
