A good thin/narrow knife?

Copperlock is pretty close. I don't have the aluminum peasant to compare but I do have a regular one to see how thick the blade is and from what I've seen in pictures the aluminum scales don't add much thickness to the knife.

great pics, thanks

I'm not sure I'm positive in which direction you are looking for it to be thin. But the Benchmade 530 might fit the bill. The 710 has a narrow blade but not sure that is what you are looking for. If it is then most Spydercos are ruled out.

He worded it a bit awkwardly. But it sounded like he really liked how thin the HANDLE of his Leek is, but he was concerned about the fragile feeling tip of the Leek. So he's looking for a knife with similarly thin handles, but possibly a bit more robust seeming blade.

I could definitely be wrong, but that's the vibe I got.

There's also plenty of great little necker/fixed blades. Check out the Izula and the BHK Tiger knapp. If you don't want to carry it on your belt you can find pocket sheaths for a good price.

What about the SOG SlimJim series? I don't have any personal experience with them but maybe they are worth a look?

The CRKT Ripple and nicer-still Eros knives jump to mind, if you're focused on thin knives. That said, I have a Mcusta MC-0113D Tsuchi knife that is even thinner than my Ripple/Eros knives. Here is a photo:

I checked with a ruler, and it looks to be about 6mm thick. It's a pretty little knife, too:

I just got in a blank K55k from France. Sleek, black, with no garish cat. Looks like the Porsche of knives. And while it comes very, very sharp, a few passes on the Sharpmaker turned it into a scalpel.

Are you saying theyre made in France?
Bcause theyre made in Solingen, Germany...

For a thin traditional it will be hard to beat a Douk-Douk, I like the knives a lot too. Compared to Endura:

Take a look at Al Mar or Moki knives. I have also purchased CRKT Swindle recently: it is on the cheap side, but is really a knife worth buying! Take a look as well: it fits your expectations.

How thick are you willing to go? Below are some that are the same thickness as the Leek. If you're open to going to something as thick as, say, the Skyline, there are more options.

On the high end check out William Henry. Working down the price scale Mcusta,Spyderco ukpk(slipjoint),Delica or Kershaw Chill

FFG Delica is thin but not narrow thanks to Spyderhole hump. Traditionals are available both thin and narrow. Kershaw Chill is pretty thin and narrow for a modern knife. I find the Chill much more comfortable and safe to use than the Leek I had.
