Get yourself a well-looked after, pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Professional and don't look back. I own 12 watches (from very cheap&cheerful to about as expensive as the Pro) but this is still THE one for me. It's just never boring and has about the most beautiful lugs ever to grace a watch of this size and designation.

Or donate a lot of money to Omega by buying a new one!

The best part about buying a used Omega is that if for some reason you decide you don't want it anymore you can whip around and sell it for very close to what you bought it for unless you managed to damage or destroy it.

It is a great altrenative to buying a new one, as you can effectively test drive the product for as long as you want or just switch one for another when you get bored with very little money actually going away permanently.
