Turn out to be a nice day here. The wife and I headed out to see what we could find. We saw all kinds of wildlife, Geese, deer, pheasants, turkey, Wood ducks, a beaver and best of all a nesting Bald Eagle. All this was with in just a few miles of each other. The temperature was in the 60's and a light breeze. What a day. I hope you enjoy the shots.

These were standing on the side of the road

Great pics Doug:thumbup:

Never thought I'd say this to another guy but;

Nice Beaver shot:thumbup:

:D

Cool pictures. People in the city never know how nice the world can be without getting out, and pics like these will make them believe it. Or, it did to my boss anyway. (Showed him the thread and he thought it was some sort of zoo :o

These are great pics of great place.
Oooh. Eagle on the nest. Very impressive.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I will say this is no zoo, a lot of these pictures were shot on land my cousin owns. This is also some of the land I do my deer hunting on as well. Tony thanks for the comment on "The Beaver". Doug

cool pics, it looks like a fun time. I love seeing the bald eagles out in the wild, it is quite a sight (my area is one of the most populated areas for bald eagles, so i get to see them alot)

Looks like Bashakill on rt 209 south of Wurtsboro. This is a wonderful area for wildlife and you can canoe through the area.Not all that far from the NYC area.

Actually it is just outside of Alexander in Genesee County south of Batavia. Doug
