I understand where you're coming from redhawk44p but I think others here have missed the point of your post.
There is another thread recently posted called "Urban Paranoia" where many members find nothing unusual about carrying 5 or more knives.
One could question why someone "needs" a car that can go over 100 mph or why one "needs" a gun that can fire more than 10 bullets just as one could question why one needs to carry 5 knives. See a pattern?
Just my thoughts.
