I found this the other day, it is a free download or you can order the pocket reference for only $5! It has composition charts and heat treat info on just about every steel and stainless you can think of. It also lists all of the alloying elements and explains there function when added to steel.
It will answer the ever common question of "What temp do I harden x steel at" It also lists ramp and soak times, as well as recommended quenching medium. I am in no way affiliated with them, I just thought may be useful for someone.
