A great way to break into traditionals

Settle for an OTF?

No, you've done balis, if I remember correctly. You've taken frame locks and other knives apart to wave them. I know you have the technical know how to make a slipjoint. I was referencing the Case Bose swingguard you've talked about on Facebook. I'm generally selfish and would like to see the makers out there try their hand at a slipjoint, or a few. It is very easy for me to sit here and ask a talented maker to make a slipjoint, while I have a pile of old knives and handle scales sitting, on top of a knife repair manual sitting waiting to be fixed. Maybe some impetus for us both.

A traditional OTF would be cool though.

One day. I'll try a regular lockback first.

I'm having Rainy Vallotton build me a liner lock D/A version of that swing guard Hunter.
