well I listened to the preview of each song, no offense intended (it sounded great good job :thumbup:) but its just not my cup of tea; I prefer heavier music. :D It was very relaxing tough and unfortunately after just getting to listen little previews of the music they all sounded pretty similar (Of course so does a lot of artist music, especially AC/DC). So for me I would give it a 3 out of 5, mostly because it is not my taste in genre . There were some songs how ever that I may consider buying like still standing, towards the end of the preview it sounded like it was getting good. Also your band has a lot of talent especially if those songs were only made with 3 people.

There is my honest, non sugar coated truth. Great job :thumbup:
Also as far as a better band name..... Bazaar or.... 3 thumbs up (:D considering that there is only 3 band members..... right?)
 
thanks for the review HW. yeah, the bassist and I want to hit it a bit heavier next time out. after all my favorite band is tool. (but the women who come to shows with music like this are generally better looking ;)) yep all self made just us three
 
Any videos on youtube or music some other place that I could get a better feel for your music, those 30 second previews on iTunes barely gives me a taste of your work. Also that troll post on your iTunes album really did kill the over all rating, but if someone reads all the review they will figure out it was just some ghey punk.
 
thanks, and as of yet, no there isn't if you like i can email you an mp3 file (less than itunes quality) of any of the songs off the album to get an idea. when we play live we rock out. we have an older audience than our ages would suggest and we end with a live jam to crossroads by cream that left our debut audience stunned :D
 
If you don't mind I would love to hear the rest of still standing, also I have a few friends who are into to the same type music that is on your album and I will be sure to recommend/force ;) them to listen to at least a little of it. I will shoot you a PM with my email. Also when you do come out with another album be sure to pm me or mods willing post a link here.

Heck even if I didn't like the music (Judging by the feel in still standing I'm sure I will like it) I would still support any band that has members on Blade Forums (I know I'm biased :p) and whose music isn't rap/hip-hop/what ever else its called.
 
The noise they are making sounds alot like music.:D "Music in me" was my favorite. Just needed a little more umph in the vocals maybe? Regardless. You already sound better than half the stuff my girlfriend makes me listen to. So thats a good thing..lol. But really I am open to listening to a wide variety of music, besides most county and rap ( will make a few exceptions)..
I will buy the album as soon as I have a few bucks in the bank. I have a collection of cd's from local bands.. and some friends of mine.
My brother has a band.. He loves rocking tool every time I see him.. I believe they still kept the band name " The Argus" or " Argus"..
Keep up the good work.
 
Hey SladeGT40, "Still Standing" would be a great name for your band. The music inudustry is very hard to get ahead in. Anybody who has the opportunity to actually have an album debut ...even if on iTunes is doing something right and is Definately "Still Standing" ;)!!!

I listened to all of the tracks and in my opinion you have a lot of potential, good melody. Keeping pushing forward and I wish You The Very Best Of Luck. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

Unbiased review of still standing from two completely different people (I dragged my twin sister into my room to listen): My opinion of it: Wow, normally I do no like softer more blues feeling music (and I do receive comments almost daily from some friends that I listen to music with that my music is to heavy for their liking; but you have to have some way to entertain your self during Biology), but this song has a good feel and rhythm trough out. For me I would give it 4 stars out of 5.


My sister review of it: (100% unbiased, didn't tell her how I got the song, what band played it, or why I wanted to listen to it after she told me what she thought)
"It was OK, but it wasn't my favorite song ever"
Which I think that means she liked it.

I will let some of my friends listen to it and give you their takes on it, one of my friends that I work out with and play paintball with is almost guaranteed to love it. (Unfortunately knowing him if he does decide to buy it, I will spend a lot of car trips hearing him try to sing along with it)

Love to give you a review, but iTunes doesn't do Linux (sassafrassin' no-good scumbucket bigoted biased Jobs-lovin' bastids). :)

So, until you can post your songs in some non-proprietary, non-DRM, standards-compliant format, I guess I'll just have to suffer. :D :D

No worries. :)

It's just that a lot of people have freaked out over a warning not realizing that it is not even an infraction. So I just wanted to clear that up...
