I don't do the iPod thing...can you press it on vinyl and put it on the next stagecoach out of town?

HA.... what's worse is that I'm really not very old and Slade sent me an MP4 file and I had no clue what to do with it. My 'puter learnin' stopped around 1999 or 2000. I just figured he'd send me an MP3. I guess on the plus side my MP's were only off by 1. :D

An mp4 is actually a container (or wrapper) enclosing a codec (such as mp3).

If your player (hardware or software) doesn't automagically play an mp4, then drivers are available. Time to leap into this millenium! :D

an update folks. spark told me this thread really belongs in the community section. i tried to make the case that this subforum is really a community in and of itself to me. and i really was hoping for just the opinions of the good ole boys that i converse with everyday. there is a chance this thread will be closed or moved to community.

My next computer will be Linux. My little brudder is a big time computer geek type and I'm going to have him build me a machine.:thumbup:

well. im not exactly sure. it seems the thread i posted in svc and sppt was moved to community. but im not sure about this one. awaitng a reply from spark. in the meantime please continue to post reviews since its off topic i don't think i can be nailed.

okay guys so here is how this thread is going to work. i am going to close this thread in one weeks time once everyone has had an opportunity to check out the links in my sig and head on over to the new thread in community center and write a review.
