Hi everyone- :)

So I had this idea pop into my head... Awhile back I posted a couple of full tang hunter/utility/pack knives that I had made. I really wanted to make one with similar lines, but with a hidden tang--- for a few reasons: weight, less carbon steel to maintain, and I'm just sort of a hidden tang guy ;) LOL

It took some tinkering, but I came up with something that would work. And for some reason I went crazy with it. ;)

These were forged out of O1, hardened to 60Rc, thinly flat ground and hand sanded. The handles all have a black G10 frame surrounding the tang, with various exotic hardwood handles, plus domed 416 ss pins. All have horizontal carry sheaths.

These are very simple knives, there's not a lot of "bling" but I am very happy with how they look, feel, and carry.

Thanks for looking! :)

And, of course, a shot showing how the knife rides on the belt... :) LOL

Damn that's a sweet group of hunters, Nick!

.....and the hand model is even a bit nicer than the knives! Of course, none of it comes close to being as cool as that shirt! Gotta get me one of those!

Real nice work. A hard working bunch of knives IMO...I love that g10 insert idea....I used to think it was Black epoxie but now I know lol;)

Very nice looking blades! I really like the Amboyna burl. Top that off with the ffg and the nice sheath and it looks like a great package. Definitely something I would carry and use!

Nick thats nifes are realy nice. They look very confortable. The wood is beautifull.
Regards from Argentina.

Nick I love the knives and the sheaths

I also really like what you've done with your nails :)

They are awesome you are really killing it of late

Oh to be young in love and talented ...... I envy you my friend :)

Nice, all of them. The boxed tang is a great option. You will likely be getting requests for more of this design as people see these pics. Another great thing about the design, there is virtually no limit to the color combos you can use for the boxed spacer.

Those are lovely hunters Nick.... perfect allrounders that could do anything anywhere.

These are great. I love the flow of the design, and the various woods are quite handsome. Very, very attractive.

Great knives Nick!

Good to see some Aussie wiood in there too mate! Gidgee is one of my favourites!

the previous iteration had the top of the handle above the spine. These, having the top of the handle in line with the spine look WAY better!
Very cool construction, makes too much sense.
