I must share this with you... I just recently purchased a Jerry Corbit Auto, and there was a little side to side play in the blade. I called Mr. Corbit on the phone, and asked him if he could tell me how to repair it myself. He replied that it would be too complicated for me to do, because the bolsters had to come off. So I asked him if I could send the knife to him, and he complied. Well, I shiped the knife to him overnight on Friday. He received the knife on Sunday afternoon (his zip code wouldn't guarantee overnight). Well, He completley took my knife apart, cleaned it, and tweeked it. He then paid for the shipping, backed to me overnight the next day. So all together the knife went, and came back to me in just four days. To me that is unheard of!

I think Mr, Corbit went above, and beyond what he had to do. Now I know most makers would repair their own knives, but to do it in that ammount of time, and send it back to me overnight... That to me is above, and beyond. I'm not even a customer of his! Yes, I bought one of his knives, but not from him. Jerry Corbit, if you don't know is one of the most talented makers out there today, and now you can add a few more adjectives to talented, and his name... Gentleman, class act, and conscientious.

Thank you very much Jerry Corbit!

I agree. Jerry Corbit is one of the most stand up great guys I ever met in my life. He has done great and generous things for me as well. Hail Jerry!!

I agree. I had one brief dealing with him years ago and he was super nice and helpful. Plus he makes a helluva knife!
