Found the great looking Kabar 1152 and snapped it up. The scales are a variation of the standard derlin that exhibit colors I haven't seen in these before. A very handsome coloration. All the Blades have good snap and of course are of carbon steel. This one will defiantly get an elk ivory lanyard....

Blades are all full and look as if the factory edge hasn't been touched...

This little Kabar will be going into the EDC rotation. It hit the trifecta of slipjoints for me...a favorite maker in a favorite pattern with very handsome good looks, what more could an old fart like me ask for!

Great looking knife.

Wish they hadn't rounded the screwdriver corners, though.

The back has even more color with some really burnt tones coming out...really one of the prettiest set of Kabar scales I have seen...

That is a sweetheart. Scouts are one of my favorite patterns. Love that love flathead screwdriver. Rough Rider imitates that in their Scouts.

I know the screwdriver's usefulness is compromised a touch by the rounded corners but I am reluctant to square them and change the factory profile. As I keep a Leatherman in my car, one in the range bad, basic tool kit in the car, etc I don't think this screwdriver blade will catch too much use'

Very nice find!
I would certainly be interested in seeing the Elk Ivory lanyard when complete.
