A Knife Display/storage Case from a Silverware Chest?

Well there are non-heirloom sources. Goodwill and other thrift stores for one. E-Bay is another.

I can fumble my way forward with this. Just wondering if anyone else had tis scew0ball idea . . .and how the did it.

The company that makes them is Sheffield, and I picked them up from the ubiquitous site that just charged me $140 for "free" shipping for the year.
Those look identical to the US made Hyper tough boxes I get for $5 at Walmart, probably from the same exact OEM.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's Plano or Flambeau, maybe Contico or Stackon.

I buy the translucent ones, but if they had orange I'd get a few.

Why not? I use a Jewelry Chest for some of my knives. Bought it at a garage sale for $20, and it's much more organized than the map chest or Tupperware totes I also use.

That looks great, I'll have to be on the lookout for something similar.

Looking at them both I'd say your likely correct. They even have translucent ones on the other site, but for 3x as much as WM😬

This was my first time going with these, I had previously bought some of the MTM caseguard boxes and bins to store various gear (all the way down to the little 50rd boxes that work great for battery storage).
