It's a good thing she didn't know that knives are terrible self defense weapons. ;)

Seriously, very glad she's okay and that she had a solid, well built tool to defend herself.

That is a heck of a story. Like you said, glad the right person got cut.

Congrats Charlie Mike, must be a satisfying feeling, hopefully one day I'll get one of your knives

It sucks that she was in that position to have to use it; but awesome that she had the high quality tool she needed, when she needed it.

Nice work CM.

Pictures or it didn't happen.... actually that's got to be quite satisfying for you CM

Good luck on the liability with that evil knife "you" made. With today's justice system, you'll probably get to enjoy a day or two in the court system. Best of luck !!!!

Not so... this happened in TX.

Do we get pics for the Hall of Meat?

But seriously, that's awesome. Gotta give you the warm and fuzzies to know you made a tool that saved a life.

OK - so this is a knife fight that the attacked won the attacker:thumbup: I want to see a picture of the knife (actually both knives if possible).

Looks like a CM blade is proven to get the job done. I don't doubt that I'll become one of your customers sometime down the road.

It's sad that she had to cut her brother, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Good for her, and good for you, CM. Her brother clearly needs help of some sort, and I hope he gets it.

Great thing your sister is alright.....that's just...whew.

It is unfortunate that she had to resort to using a karambit, though self defense is what it is. All I can say is, if the attacker was aiming to kill his own sister, he needs some help.

I know I'm probably more scared of my karambit (Emerson) than any knife I own when handling. Always felt like it was a great self-defense piece if necessary. They're really cutters.....

Glad to hear she came through that OK.

The defender is the girlfriend of the person who commissioned me to build a kerambit.
