The blade is hand forged from the steel I make. It is the same technology as Wootz/Bulat. The pattern is good. I oiled the blade to help the camera to capture it. The blade was forged very close to the final shape and there are two marks where the scale traces remain (marked with red arrows). I did not stamp the blade as it was first "sample" blade from an ingot. I can engrave my maker's mark on the spine if you'd ask.

Blade dimensions are 5-3/8" long, 1" wide and almost 3/16 at the handle. Nice taper, hand finish to 800 grit. Etched to reveal the pattern.

The guard is "mokume-gane". My make; copper+nickel-silver composition. Pretty tight pattern. It should get more contrast in time as copper will turn from pink to dark brown.

The handle is walnut burl with good figure. The wood was vacuum treated with natural resin and polished with carnauba wax.

The sheath is hand stitched leather. I dyed it to resemble the walnut burl pattern. The leather is treated with the saddle oil and lightly polished.

I ask SOLD for it. Shipping CONUS included.
I prefer PayPal (dmitryong@gmail.com)
Thanks!

I'll take it. Please engrave your mark on it. I've been looking at the knives of yours I already have and wondered when I'd see another one. I'm still kicking myself for missing the first one you ever posted. My buddy has been subjecting the one he got from you to ridiculous abuse and so far no sign of any failure or weakness. He is really amazed. I told him you made good stuff!

What a NICE knife   And from Oregon, WI? I need to keep an eye out for another like this from you when i have the funds and I'll drive to pick it up myself. Beautiful
