A Knife Transformation

Great job as always Glenn! And thanks again (as I said in our email conversation) for once again adding inestimable value to one of my giveaways.

Sorry to be away so long. Other responsibilities have been consuming my time.

So happy to hear that you are happy Griff!

Congrats to all on a great gift and well executed work! Good to see you around Doug, glad to see your alive and well  :)

Here are some other pics I had of this build.

I have never seen any of Glenn's work that wasn't just outstanding. Awesome talent, and a very personable gentleman.

Very nice! So you had to disassemble the whole knife to rehandle? Guess that makes sense, can't get at the scale pins otherwise. Do you use glue in addition to the pins?

Thanks Mark. Yes, the whole knife is taken apart. I use epoxy for the covers as well as pins. Gives a little extra piece of mind...

I'd just like to add to this thread.

Today a box arrived here in Scandiland from Glenn in the US. Inside an old Hoffritz Serpentine Pen with Sabre Clip which I had sent to him for a re-handle job. Friends, the results were outstanding, I could not be more pleased, it's a wonderful job. Too bad I can't photograph anything...the knife was sturdy but very knocked about, now it's better than new! Wonderful white bone suits the knife absolutely.

Glenn, your work is very impressive indeed.

All the best, Will
