I really like the Kukri they make a great fighters, choppers, bushcraft survival blades and more. For this one I decided to make one a little different and one uniquely different. I've differentially heat treated the blade to bring the most out of the 1/4" thick 1095 carbon steel. With an edge tempered to a hardness of 58 Rc it'll cut and with the tip at a tougher at a lower 55 Rc it'll stab and the spine in the low 50s Rc it's tough.
SPECS:
Steel: 1/4" thick 1095
Blade Length: 12.3 inches long satin finished
Overall Length: 18 inches long
Handle: Koa wood bolted and epoxied to knifes full tang
Sheath: 8/9 ounce brown leather
SOLD Price: $250 Shipped in US
I prefer PayPal (my account is kelley_ward@keysight.com) but accept other forms of payments.
