For those who own the Banspati this review may not be a surprise. For those who don't perhaps it will be surprising. Anyway, here's the story.
I received a call from a major collector of Eastern blades today. He has several hundred blades in his collection, including more than 200 khukuris about 60 of which are HI khukuris. This fellow *always* wins best of show with his collection at every exhibit or show in which he participates. And he has VERY substantial knowledge about Eastern blades so when he called me this AM and told me he had tested and examined his Royal Banspati and rated it the BEST in his entire collection my suspicions were confirmed.
Hats off to our shop foreman, Bura. Enjoy your first wristwatch, old one, and may you live long enough to make 10,000 more khukuris!
