Hello, my name is Jason Smith,I have not been on the forums for a while now, so I wanted to reintroduce myself. I have been making knives for about six years now, on and off, as time alows. I make my knives via the stock removal method, and design all the knives I make from hand sketches. I truly enjoy finding the knife hidden in every piece of steel! I wanted to offer the bladeforums members an intro deal on one of my favorite little designs!

This is a skeleton knife made of 3/16" 154cm
7 1/4" overall length with a 3" blade... this one is hollow ground with a nice satin finish and an upper swedge
I have bead blasted all of the edges to give her a little extra gripp, and I have to say she fits well in the hand!
to finish the package out is a hand made sheath with a genuine ostrich leather overlay. really came out well in my opinion!
I am offering this package of knife and sheath for sold delivered to the conus but all international shipping will be extra...
I am accepting paypal and money orders only! If you have any questions please feel free to ask...just post "I'll take it" and its yours...
Thanks Again Jason

P.s this one came out scary sharp!!!

Nice, can we some more of your work? Into hunters or bushcraft/camp knives? Look forward to seeing more and and welcome back to the forums.

High Jason. Nice looking package there at a very reasonable price.

I would like to hear about your heat treat and where you think you ended up on the hardness scale with this one.

Thanks.

If I can, I'll do a "pending" I'll take this one. (Pending Jason's answer to my previous question)

Thanks.

dwarthog, my heat treatinng process is per directions from usaknife makers formula, Ifully ramp the kiiln to 1450 and hold for five min then ramp up again t 1850 and hold for 30 minutes, I then quench the blade between two aluminum plates and cool with forced air. After I cryo treat in a solution of dry ice and kerosene for about 8 hours then temper for two hours at 450 twice to come out with a 59 tp 60 on the rc scale. I hope this answers your queston, and if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask!!!
Thanks Again Jason

Jason, thanks for the info.

I'll take this one off your hands. Let me know what paypal info I should use to complete the transaction on my side.
