I took my kids on an overnight camp out to get my youngest daughters used sleeping outside. We camped in a little meadow located on our land and grilled hot dogs and marshmallows, and drank beer (I've trying to get them to cut back on the beer...). I took my 12" Tram and the bearded hatchet/cleaver for chopping and cutting...

Cool photos

did they have a good time??

Beats me, but I had a blast! Just kidding, they really liked it.. They already like the outdoors, they spend a lot time gardening and hiking, but I wanted to make sure they slept OK outdoors. My son is an old pro and played flashlight games and told stories to them in the tent, it was fun...

Which on did you have for dinner? :D

Thats one scary looking hatchet, nice fire but, and beer is better than bourbon at that age!

Whoa! I love it! It walks the line between fantasy blade and functional tool. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a great time! As long as the kids had fun, I am sure it was a blast!

Looks like a wonderful time. You almost fooled me calling that custom hatchet a cleaver :D

My kids would get it if I caught them sticking my good looking blades in the dirt. I guess that's what it is for. Great looking cleaver again. Now that's what I would baton with. Good looking job on cleaver and children.

Man, I like that chopper bro. Neato!
