Don't fret. You'll find you forget bad things as well as good things. It balances out.

Or, you'll remember to make a shopping list, but forget to take it with you, and then ask the clerk what you forgot to buy.

A small suggestion: Do NOT tell folks that aliens abducted you and left you in the store--at least not in a small town.
