A little fun scare.

I was heating up a piece of what I thought was steel to forge into a hot cut hardy when I pulled it out, lifted my hammer above my head, and saw a firework!


Cast iron..


It was a piece from an auto body repair kit and all the ones I have used have been hc steel. Turns out this one wasn't. Felt like hitting a slush ball.
