Hi there! This folder was a gift from my sister in law. She doesn't know anything about knives, but she knows that I am a knife nut, so she ordered this knife on line for me.
I know that must be a copy or a clone for sure, but I can't find any knife like this. I checked in the Medford, Spyderco, Microtech, Tops, ZT websites and nothing. So please, if you know who is the victim of this clone, let me know. I'm just curious about.
Best Regards..

Does it have any markings or indications of specs?

Found your knife on a china wholesale site. It claims to imitate Medford, but I don't see much resemblance.

Very thoughtful of her, but I would not trust my fingers to it!!

i think its trying to imitate a medford, but not doing a good job of it. maybe an older model

Funny enough I see a Brous resemblance myself. Couldn't tell you what model or anything like that, but that's what I see.

I wouldn't concern myself too much with it if I were you. It was a gift from someone who doesn't have much knowledge in this particular hobby.

Sorry no Brous Blade, no Shirogorov.. perhaps it's an original design and not a clone.. who knows.. BTW I appreciate very much this gift from someone who doesn't know nothing about this hobby. I am just curious to see the original knife.

At some point it was a knife company from Maryland, and specialized in knives that looked like skateboard decks. Appears to be out of business.

Resembles a Hogue X5 with some design liberties taken. I think you're sister in law may have actually found a unique knife. Probably not the highest quality, but at least its a good looking thing and it's not a clone.

I'm imagining an Hogue X5 and a ZT0456 had a baby.
