This "Fox" is definately coming with me on my next trip.

Interesting way of carrying a knife! Is it comfortable and does it stay in place pretty well?

i'm with naked, thats a pretty cool way to carry.

nice pics dude.

cheers

Man, I love trout.

They stocked the lake here last Saturday. All the old guys line up and catch every one they can the first day. I don't even bother to go watch anymore :(

Thanks fellas!

Bear the Knife is an RC-3.

Naked:
It is comfortable to carry like that, there is little to no swing, and easily accessable. I can also keep my hip free for a larger blade if neccessary.

Hey, looks like a great day!! Swwwweeeeeeeeeeeeett.

Jeez nice fish! I was pulling fish on the ocean trip smaller than that last one, what is it, half spring salmon or what?

What a beauty! You must have been pretty thrilled to haul that beast out. I see your spinner there...what all were you using for tackle? In my experience there is nothing more fun than bringing in a 5 pound fish on 2 pound test line on a really light rod...heart racing!

Its a rainbow trout, biggest I have ever caught! Got home and weighed him, and he went 5lbs 9oz.

I was using a 6 foot Shimano jimmy houston ultra light rod, Quantum catalyst PTI , spooled with 6lb flouracarbon.

Not quite as light as 2lb line, but it sure was fun bringing him in!

Got um on a little inline spinner, rainbowtrout color.

I am hitting the lake this friday for some small mouth and large mouth. I'll be sure to post some pics.

Great pics and a cracking Trout there bro, will you be throwing him on the BBQ ?

What a great way to end your day coming home to a Barkie.....man they are my kinda days !!!!

Five and a half pounds! What a monster! Must have felt incredible bringing the guy in.

I have never even seen a rainbow that size...I don't know if I've seen a four pound rainbow! I am happy when I get a two pounder, that's incredible!

Bet that last trout made for some good eating. Now I'm hungry!! Maybe I should get a fishing licence and hit the lake this weekend?

Nothing better than fresh trout on the grill. A little butter and lemon is all ya need. That big boy fed 4, and there is some left over for lunch today. I am more of a bass fisherman than anything else, but trout like that will make me want to visit more rivers and streams. Plus the hiking to get to them is alot of fun as well.
