A Little Hike With My Dog Today

I just took this cute picture of him in bed a minute ago. I woke him up with the camera. He goes to bed on his own at almost exactly 10:00 pm... as if he knows the time or something.

ha.. that's a good one.. reminds me of our dog Timber.. she's a 9o lb. beast, but curls up into this little ball when she sleeps..

Yes, dogs are great. Mine gives me a lot of happiness. Especially when I watch him run loose in an open space. Even the mischief that he gets into at home when we're not watching... When he's happy, when he's sad, manipulating, or even when he's grumpy, it's a joy to have him.

I should note that Bear is a very friendly dog and he is always happy to see me. Maybe it's because I give him a good back scratch every time....you'd think he wasn't getting that from anyone at home.

Ray, awesome pics of the landscape you got to hike in, It really is a joy to hike in the woods with a dog. It just feels right.
