A little love for the humble Dragonfly

Hi everyone, I'm new here, but i've been at Spyderco collecting for over 12 years. One of my first was the serrated ATS-55 stainless Dragonfly, and i was hooked. Now i think i've got them all. Aside from a couple plain/serrated variants of the same model, are there any i'm missing? I've seen some stainless models with a laser engraved spider web, were those factory? Anyway, here are mine (some of my duplicates not shown), lets see yours!

Thanks, that one and the Superblue get the most pocket time. The pointy wharncliffe blade turned out to be super useful.

That's funny because I often carry a Foliage G10 or Super Blue Dragonfly 2 as well!
You now have me considering picking up another in FRN to try to regrind to a little wharncliffe, too! Nice work. And welcome to the forum, by the way.

Just got mine a week or two ago. It's a great little knife, but I'm not in love with the clip. I bent the crap out of it on day 3 of ownership, lol.

What a nice collection of Dragonflys! That Wharncliffe mod really stands out in the pack.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. The Dfly is certainly my favorite knife. I'm excited for the Hap40 sprint, and would like to make a shameless plea to Sal to make a Titanium/Damascus Dragonfly. That would be as good as it gets. Also all the rest of the delica/endura colors. And a dlc coated one. I think I have a problem...

I got my first last week. It's the ZDP version. I've always carried much bigger knives, and the only reason I purchased mine was to give to my dad.

Unfortunately for Pops, It's staying with me. I love this knife!

I still want to get him one but he's not fond of spending loads of time on a sharpening stone. How much difference does the VG10 steel offer?

I think VG10 is still very good steel. It may not hold up against all the new super steels, but compared to older and cheaper knives in 440C and AUS-8, i think it's a huge improvement. And it's pretty easy to sharpen.

Here is another one i just customized. Didn't take very long on a bench grinder and sharpmaker, and i really like the result. I think this will be a very useful blade, and feels wicked in hand.

Ha! I did the opposite. Got a one in ZDP and, after quite a bit of carry, decided it was just a bit too small for my XXL hands. My father had admired it on several occasions, so I gifted it to him.
