A little love for the humble Dragonfly

Here is another one i just customized. Didn't take very long on a bench grinder and sharpmaker, and i really like the result. I think this will be a very useful blade, and feels wicked in hand.

Loving both the mods. Just curious, is it just as simple as grinding the edge to the right shape? Or do you redo the grind bevels as well? If it's the former, doesn't that change the thickness behind the edge significantly? Does that affect the cutting performance? Sorry for all the questions; I'm considering doing this myself so I'm curious. Thanks in advance!

The wharncliffe blade did have to be re ground to keep the edge bevel even, but that was pretty easy on some diamond stones. Surprisingly the reverse S blade has a pretty even edge bevel, so I didn't bother with the grind at all. It is a little thicker behind the edge, but not enought to make a noticeable difference.
