a little Marchand goodness

Great kit! Is it cool to have kit envy?

If you aren't envious of this you either A: Have one or B: Are not right in the head.

Wow, another piece of functional art. Very nice.
Rick may remind you of a Disney dog but his work is far from goofy. I wouldn't hesitate to trust my life to the tools he makes. My knowledge will fail long before his tools will.

Which has what to do with my post? I was complimenting the man's work.

Good ol' Proctourist was just messin with me x39. He complimented me (and flattered, thanks bud) in his special way by agreeing that although my work might look a bit "artsy" at times, it is born from and made for real use. I don't make anything that I wouldn't consider functional. I have this same kit in my belt pouch and almost everyone who shares bushtime with me has one, too.

Rick, when I call something a work of art, I mean it in the best sense. Your stuff is over the top like a high end sports car, it performs and looks great sitting still as well.

I couldn't agree more.

The title of this thread reminds me of what Mrs. Marchand says so often....especially the little part :D

Wow, that is a Very cool fire kit! With the patina on it, it makes it look like it is from the 1800's. Nice work and good score for sure.
