The butterfly looks cool. I'm eagerly awaiting to go Turkey hunting.. and for Thanksgiving for that matter. Good food, and one of the best times of the year.

Yes, Those are some more great pictures as always Mist. You know I could not live there cuz I would want
to chicken fry every one of those young turkeys.Ha.
thanks for the great pictures.
Jeff

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the post!

Oh, and the turkey hunting is pretty good around here, I just do it with a camera...though that may change soon :)

Nice stuff Mist - like that popular shot at the end! Thanks for the prairie photo!

Mist, great photos, skill, and area. I really need to upgrade my little camera, but it just fits so nicely in the pack waistbelt pockets and all it takes is 2xAA when the juice runs low.

Again, thank you for the photos.

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed the post. I do love that area. Right now I'm down in Jeff Randall's neck of the woods sitting on the back deck of the Desoto Lodge catching up on some writing. I spent some time yesterday wandering the Little River Canyon. I'll post some pics from that later though, I don't think the wi-fi here would be fast enough to upload pics. The wife just picked up a new Nikon P&S that takes great shots, I think it's a 12MP and has a nice zoom. It's so slim I could carry it in a shirt pocket and forget it's there, I think I'm going to have to pick up one for me for the trips when I'm not working.

Great pics Mist, those close ups are amazing !!!!

I think fall has to be the best time of the year for getting out.

Seriously consider a book of your adventures complete with pics. I'd buy one!

Thanks for the kind words Rocky! Actually I have a few thousand images saved back just for the purpose of doing a book some day...if i ever figure out how to go about getting it published.
