A little off-center ... but far from O/T

How about a Scandi grind for INFI? That might be pretty interesting.

That would be pretty cool, something with the blade shape of a satin jack, I think would work well

I have a 5 inch Scandi that is one of my favourite belt knives .... up there with my S5LE and my RMD ....

Made by a UK custom maker Mark Hill or "HillBilly" on the forums ... it is a bit longer in the blade than normal for these knives but I find a 5 inch blade to be a good alround balance for my needs....

The thing with Scandi's though is that they need to be sharpened flat for a zero edge first and then usually a little stropping or micro bevel to ensure good edge retention and no "rolling" ... pure zero grind tends to give too thin an edge for me and "roll" when working on wood if too thin .... but done right a scandi edge for woodworking is far better than anything else .... so having one in Infi would be very interesting .... Infi and 01 Tool Steel both take great edges but D2 is perhaps better for a thinner profile ....

I would love to compare this to a Basic 5 asymetrical taken a bit sharper as per Will's knife ....
