Bobby Branton, ATC's Co-Founder and Production Director, is a Journeyman Smith in the American Bladesmith Society.....he is quite close to his Mastersmith status, and has been making knives for over 15 years.
As most of you already know, he is a professional knife and tomahawk thrower, and the President of the late Harry McEvoy's, American Knife Throwers Alliance.
Schooled in much of his knifemaking skill by the legendary George Herron, Bobby has been regarded as a protege, offering knives in the tradition of Mr. Herron's work, as well as his own designs.
Below is a Boot Knife design which demonstrates Bobby's sensitivity to the Herron legacy with a tactical flair. He makes them between Tomahawks!
The blade is 4.25".....ATS-34, integral guard, hand contoured micarta scales, flush ground bolts.....only $175
