Hi All,

I come very often to visit BladeForums, but don't remember if I ever posted !?
So, let me introduce myself… I'm from Belgium and a knives geek… that say it all ;-)

I asked Samuel LURQUIN to make me a Gentle Man fixed knife.
So not an EDC (I have enough) but well a SDC (Special Day Carry).
I don't have a smoking, but it could fit !

Whaoow, the result is just great even if Samuel is not known for small knives.

It's a semi-integral damas blade with a Makassar Ebony handle which is so ergonomic.
Sheat is in the scandi style.

Just wanted to share !

Lovely knife. I can't quite tell what the handle is. I don't think it is micarta.

Ebony with some slight grey highlights?

It looks a bit like black oosic, with a high polish?

Almost a bone/natural looking texture?

Anyway, a lovely piece.

Sorry guys, but all i have now is a basic pocket camera > not really good !

Handle is ebony > a good way to spot real ebony are the light grey fibers which are oxalic acid.

Hope it works this time ?
