Too many close-ups of nature's worst part..the nasty little bugs:barf: But still another great post Mist, and who made that hawk/belt axe?

As always amzing pics Mist, that ESEE 6 really is a transformed knife with those scales eh !!!

Thanks man. Yeah, lol, it's a rain forest here, that doesn't even beging to scratch the surface of the different types of bugs we have here. The hawk is a proto made by RMJ, it's fun to play with.

lol we need to post this in WC and have folks add captions to it. the possibilities are endless

Yeah, I sort of thought of a couple myself...

Thanks man, and yeah it's much better now :)

Fabulous pics as usual. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Rocky, glad you liked the thread!

Great Photos Mist!!!!

Thanks Doc, glad you enjoyed them!

Wow...sweet pics 'Ol Bud ! What camera ? awsome looking ESEE6 !

Thanks man, the camera is a Nikon D3000. Oh yeah, really digging it now, may be getting some more colorful scales for it later on once they are out and available.

Stunning pics Mist, and so crisp too.

Thanks as ever.

Loved the 'port in a storm' and the bug (beetle?) in flight shots. The randy flies made me chuckle too!

Those taddies continue to impress me with their resilience.

Really nice - did you have a macro lens, or what settings were you using?

Thanks, for most of the macro shots I was using a zoom lens.

Thanks Scruff. Nature seems to be amazingly resilient, and luckily so...

Great pics Mist. Glad to see it looking springlike down there. I'll be there next week... hopefully get to see some nice views while I am down there with my nephew.

Very cool pics. You have quite the eye for taking some of the best photos, Brian.

Bryan

Thanks for the compliments Bryan, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Thanks man, so which part of our great state are you going to be in? Going to the Smokeys?

Pigeon Forge. Going to hopefully enjoy the park, SMKW, all the stuff around there. Hopefully I can get the womenfolk away from the shopping so me and my nephew can enjoy the woods a bit.

Should be nice up there this time of year. I want to get back up there for a serious hike later this summer. Hell...just let them go shopping and hit the woods. Just don't leave 'em all your money :)

Great photos Mist - looks like something out of National Geographic

Nice eye !

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed them. Hmmm, maybe all those years of reading NG had an impact on my photography habits...

Really gorgeous pics ! Starting to green up a bit here also. I have been getting out a LOT but my outdoor focus has given these to me as of late.
