Hiya guys, not posted on here for quite some time although I have been checking other peoples posts. Figured I should check in and explain my lack of posts. Midway through last year I was experiencing severe headaches which my Docs kept insisting was migraines, I eventually ended up in hospital and was diagnosed with a large brain tumor !
Long story short I had most of the Tumor removed and have been having treatment to destroy the rest ( hopefully !).
Consequently the treatment has knocked me for six and left me little energy or urge to do much hiking.:(

So if you could send some smoke my way that would be awesome !!!

Anyway managed to get out for about an hour today:

Skunk cabbage was out, a sure sign of spring !

Maisy and Snicker are both still with me, only managed to snap Maisy as Snicker was too quick !

I spy water !

Yeah definitely the Inlet down there !

No new knives I'm afraid, being off on sick leaves no money for non-essentials, still carrying my GAK everyday though !

A short-ish walk but still way better than the ones I did in hospital !

Dammit, man! I'd been missing those sweet little trip reports from the Northwest and wondered where you'd gone.

Smoke sent - kick that bastard in the ass!!

Damn Pitdog...right on for the positive attitude though. Definitely lots of smokes sent your way!

 Good to see you back Pitdog! Smoke and good ju-ju sent for a quick recovery.

Good to see you back, Pitdog!

Smoke coming your way my friend!

I was just yesterday looking at the JK Scandi Passaround thread, you remember the one where you posted pictures of the knife next to a dead rat?

I'll be thinking of you, and praying as well - I hope you and Maisey and Snicker can get back out in the forest you all love so much.

best

Smoke and strength on its way to you from here.

I've missed your posts and, in fact, re-visit one from time to time ... 'Old dogs can still enjoy the outdoors'. Clearly, it's true.

May spring work its magic and may you get well for lots of hikes in the green woods ahead

Susan
